The Super Falcons have moved a place up in the latest FIFA rankings for female national football teams released yesterday.
The reigning Africans moved from the 39th to 38th position in the March edition of the monthly rankings.
Nigeria finished 7th at the Cyprus Women’s Cup which held early in March after winning two of their four games.
The Nigerian women remain the first in Africa, with Cameroon, South Africa and Ghana coming behind in that order.
The US women national female team remains number one country in world football while Germany, England, France and Canada make up the top five.
