Manchester City forward, Raheem Sterling, has hit out at Juventus defender, Leonardo Bonucci, for suggesting that teenager, Moise Kean, was partly to blame for being racially abused by Cagliari fans.

Kean was geared and whistled by the Cagliari supporters all through the game but he got back at them when he fired in Juventus’ second goal in a routing win.

The 19-year-old Italian striker spread his arms wide open in front of the Cagliari ultras during the celebration of his goal.

Kean was criticized for this move by the much experienced, who stated that the young chap should have focused on celebrating with his teammates.

"You celebrate goals with your team-mates,” the defender told Sky Sport Italia. “He could have done it differently.”

"There were racist jeers after the goal. Blaise heard it and was angered. I think the blame is 50-50.

“Moise should not have done that and the Curva [fans] should not have reacted in that way.

"We are professionals, we have to set the example and not provoke anyone."

Bonucci's comments have seen him receive criticism on social media, even from Man City’s Raheem Sterling who has hit back at him.

Posting on his Instagram Stories, the Englishman wrote: “The blame is 50-50 … All you can do now is laugh.”
