I Don’t Care Who We Face In The Semis - Ajax’s Daley Blind

Ajax defender, Daley Blind, has voiced his team's readiness to play against any opposition in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

The Amsterdam club reached the last four of the competition for the first time since 1996-97 when they came from behind to beat Juve 2-1 at Allianz Stadium on Tuesday.

And they could now face either Manchester City or Tottenham Hotspur as they continue their impressive run.

Although the former United man would relish the opportunity to play against former teammates, playing against Pep Guardiola's men would also be an exciting adventure.

"I don't really care about our semi-final opponents. Of course, it would be nice if we can play against out former team-mates [Christian Eriksen, Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld and Davidson Sanchez at Tottenham], but playing against Manchester City is also a wonderful fixture," 29-year-old Blind told AT5.

"I'd love to watch the game with a couple of beers, but we have a tough game ahead at the weekend [against Groningen]. We're fighting for the title.

"Hopefully this all ends well so we can celebrate with a big party. Now we'll have to be careful with the beers."

"It's fantastic to get this far in Europe with the club that I love and where I grew up.

Manchester City trail Spurs 1-0 on aggregate but would have the crowd at Etihad backing them as Pep Guardiola tries to match the club's best ever run in the competition.
