Nigerians Snubbed As CAF Names AFCON 2019 Referees

A 27-man shortlist of referees that will officiate at the 2019 Africa Cup Of Nations has been announced by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Referees from 20 different nationalities were selected for the showpiece that will take place in Egypt between June 21 and July 19.

But surprisingly, no Nigerian official made the list as CAF picked three Egyptians, as well as referees from Botswana, Namibia, Kenya, Seychelles and Sudan.
