Liverpool defender, Virgil van Dijk, has been crowned Premier League Player of the Season for 2018-19.
The 27-year-old won the award ahead of teammates, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, Manchester City trio, Raheem Sterling, Sergio Aguero, Bernardo Silva and Chelsea's Eden Hazard.
The Netherlands international has helped the Reds keep 20 clean sheets and missed only 35 minutes of the 37 matches before the campaign finale on Sunday.
Van Dijk ,who has scored four times in the league this season, adds this award to the the PFA Players’ Player of the Year honour he won last month.
The award was decided by a combination of votes from fans, the captains of the 20 Premier League clubs, and a panel of football experts.
The former Southampton man succeeds Egyptian international, Salah, who was named Premier League Player of the Season in 2018.
