Nigerian international, Victor Osimhen, has been honoured with the Sporting Charleroi’s Player of the Season title for the 2018-19 campaign.
The 20-year-old has been in a fit form for the Belgian club since joining on a season-long loan from German Bundesliga’s side, Wolfsburg.
Osimhen has been vital to the Zebra's rise in the Belgian First Division A this season, scoring 16 goals in 32 appearances to earn them an Europa League play off spot.
He has netted four times in seven playoff matches to help set up a play-off final date with Kortrijk on Wednesday that could see them pick up the last qualification ticket for the European competition.
With 17 goals in all competitions this season, Osimhen is Charleroi's top scorer this season.
Osimhen was named in Gernot Rohr's 25-man provisional squad for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt and is tipped by many to make the final 23 list.
