Nigerian billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, has paid ailing former Super Eagles coach, Christian Chukwu, a visit at the Wellington Hospital, Circus Road, St John's Woods London, where he is receiving treatment and recuperating.
Otedola, who donated $50,000 to fund Chukwu's treatment, was joined by Nigeria Football Federation president, Amaju Melvin Pinnick.
Christian Chuckwu had arrived London with his wife last week on appointment with a renowned cardiologist to continue his treatment.
“It is waist pain and stomach upset that I keep feeling," Chukwu was quoted to have said on arrival in London.
"The doctors in Nigeria have treated the stomach upset and it remains the waist pain, but I am confident that I will come back to Nigeria having regained sound health.”
The NFF shared a photo of the billionaire, Pinnick and the recuperating Chukwu on Twitter with the caption: "@realFemiOtedola visits recuperating former @NGSuperEagles coach, Christian Chukwu, at the Wellington Hospital, Circus Road, St John's Woods London."
