Chelsea star, Eden Hazard, believes that victory in the Europa League final against City rivals, Arsenal, on Wednesday will define Chelsea's first season under Maurizio Sarri.

Hazard, who has been linked heavily with a move away from Stamford bridge, is hoping to win the Europa in what could be his last game for the Blues.

The forward admits that, although it was a transitional season for the West Londoners, there was still some improvement from the previous season, as he praised Maurizio Sarri's style of play as the right way to play football.

"It's hard to talk about my level personally, what I can say about Chelsea is that we did not have a perfect season but I think we improved a lot," the Belgian told BeIN SPORTS.

"When a new manager is coming it's always hard to start well, but the way we are playing now is the way I want Chelsea to play, I think it's the way the players want Chelsea to play."

"For me, we reached the top four for the Champions League, we reached the final in the league cup and the final of the Europa League if we win it's going to be a good season. I think that the level of Chelsea is very good, but we still can improve."

The 28-year-old is rumoured to be Real Madrid's main player this summer as the Galacticos look to rebuild after a dismal season but Hazard wouldn't give anything away when quizzed on his own future, adding that he is happy to play in any position for his side.

"I want to enjoy football, play many games as I can and then bring the smile to the face of the fans that's why I am playing."

"I just want to play on the pitch to be fair, Left winger, number 10, number 9, I just try to do my best in any position."
