Chelsea forward, Eden Hazard, finally put to rest reports over his future as he all but confirmed he would be leaving Stamford Bridge this summer.

The Belgian has been a subject of transfer speculations, having been linked all season with a move to Spanish giants, Real Madrid.

Hazard scored twice and assisted one as Chelsea defeated Arsenal 4-1 in the finals of the Europa League in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Excited at what he and his teammates had just achieved, the 28-year-old couldn't help but divulge information he had kept to himself all through the season.

“We will decide in a few days and the only target in my mind was to win this final. I have made my decision already and now I'm waiting on both clubs," Hazard first told a BT Sports reporter.

But when he was pressed for a more definite answer, the Chelsea no10 added: “I think it is goodbye, but in football, you never know.

“My dream was to play in the Premier League and I have done that for one of the biggest clubs so maybe now it is the time for a new challenge.”

Former Arsenal striker, Oliver Giroud, scored the opening goal of the game and Hazard admits it was the crucial moment of the game.

“It was good. I think both teams were playing with a bit of stress in the first half because it was a final, but when Olivier scored, it was the beginning of a great night,” Hazard said.

“We played well and controlled the game and I'm happy to leave this trophy with the boys.

“The manager said to carry on playing football at the break and today we showed our mentality.”
