Former Nigerian international and Arsenal striker, Kanu Nwankwo, has expressed his sadness following the news of the death of ex-teammate, Jose Antonio Reyes.
Reyes, 35, died in a tragic car collision at 11:40 am on Saturday on the A-376 motorway while riding from Seville to Utrera.
Sevilla first broke the news of Reyes' death on Saturday and since then tributes have been pouring in for the ex-Spain international.
Kanu Nwankwo, who shared the same dressing room with Reyes during his time at Arsenal, has put out a post on social media expressing his shock.
"I am devastated by this sad news, Reyes was a gentleman. May his soul rest in peace. @arsenal," tweeted the two time African footballer of the year.
