Super Eagles Arrive Egypt For 2019 Africa Cup Of Nations

Nigeria's senior national football team, the Super Eagles, have arrived Egypt ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Gernot Rohr, his backroom staff and the 23-man squad landed in the city of Ismailia where they would continue with the final phase of their training.

The team touched down in the early hours of Monday, having left Asaba, Nigeria were they camped previously on Sunday afternoon.

They will have their first training in the Northern African country later on Monday as they finalize preparations for their last friendly against Senegal on June 16 before moving to Alexandria where they would play their opening game.

The three-time African champions were previously camped in Asaba, Delta State, in Nigeria, where they were held to a goalless draw by the Brave Warriors of Zimbabwe last Saturday.

Nigeria will play their first game against Burundi at the Alexandria Stadium on June 22 before meeting Guinea and Madagascar, on June 26 and June 30 respectively.
