Liverpool superstar, Mohamed Salah, who was an integral figure in Liverpool Champions League winning squad, has made it his new hobby to defend Muslim women.

The attacker now defends the rights of women in Egypt, condemning the unruly treatment of women in his country.

"I think we need to change the way we treat our women in our culture, it's not optional,” Salah had said this earlier this year, which earned him his infamous tag "Feminist Icon" by 'TIME Magazine'.

This time, Salah condemned the sexual abuse of Muslim women in his country. He is displeased with how women are forced to be submissive and not have a voice of their own. He took to his official Twitter handle to express his displeasure.

Salah, who scored a fantastic goal in Egypt's 2-0 victory over Dr Congo, also played a key role against Zimbabwe yesterday, as his side secured Round of 16 qualification, joining the Super Eagles of Nigeria in that elite category. Egypt hopes to reclaim their African dominance with the AFCON glory after over two decades of waiting.
