Premier League giants, Arsenal, have reached an agreement to sign Spanish midfielder, Dani Ceballos, who plays for the Los Merengues, Real Madrid, on a loan deal for the 2019/2020 season. Dani Ceballos was signed from the Andulacian club side, Real Betis, and has been scouted as the perfect fit for Aaron Ramsey who left on a free transfer to join Juventus in Turin, Italy.
Ceballos is just 22 years and has already made 56 appearances for Real Madrid since he joined in 2017. Due to the star-studded midfield Real Madrid commands, it remains to be seen how Ceballos can command a starting shirt ahead of Balon d'Or winner, Luka Modric or Toni Kroos, the German sniper or even the Brazilian wall of China. Casemiro, therefore, has become a subject of transfer rumours.
After being linked with a return to Real Betis or a switch to Sevilla, he was eventually swayed by the two North London clubs, Arsenal and Tottenham. He chose arguably the bigger of both clubs, Arsenal. The deal is a temporary loan move and would be a good learning curve for the Spanish player, as Arsenal is well known for grooming young players, especially under the tutelage of previous manager, Arsene Wenger.
With the deal almost in wraps, Arsenal will now set their sight on signing Saint-Etienne, centre-back William Saliba. Unai Emery, Arsenal’s current manager, is looking to utilize the £40M transfer kitty he was reportedly given for transfers.
