Brazilian and Liverpool forward, Roberto Firmino, is still in an excited mood over Liverpool's European triumph last season. Pictures of his new tattoo, which he flaunted during his vacation, have surfaced on the internet.
Liverpool defeated fellow English club, Tottenham, in the 2018/2019 UEFA Champions League finals, courtesy two goals from Mohammed Salah of the penalty spot and a late goal from Divock Origi to clinch the trophy for Liverpool, putting an end to Jurgen Klopp's curse.
Firmino didn't dazzle and marvel the Liverpool supporters last season in terms of goals and assists but he has shown over the years that he is loyal to the club. He also finds a way to magnificently play for Salah and Mane. Firmino is totally selfless on the ball. The 27-year-old is currently on an extended holiday due to the Copa America exploits with his national team, Brazil. He was an integral part of the Selaco Boys that defeated Peru in the finals to lift the 2019 Copa America cup on home soil after years of waiting.
The former Hoffeinhim man, Firmino, is scheduled to join the Liverpool squad on Monday, July 29, as Liverpool commences the season with a UEFA Super Cup match against Chelsea in Istanbul, Turkey, before going on to challenge defending champions, Manchester City, to the English Premier League glory after over 3 decades of local barrenness.
