Barely a few days after joining Liverpool, a controversial video of the teenager, Harvey Elliott, mocking Tottenham Hotspur and England striker, Harry Kane, has emerged online.
The video was filmed in June via snapchat during the UEFA Champions League finals on the 1st of June, 2019. While Kane was displayed on the screen, the youngster, Elliott, made a derogatory impression of the England striker.
After the video went viral on the internet, Harvey Elliott took to his Instagram story to apologise for his "senseless" and "immature" behaviour.
The youngster, who joined his boyhood club, Liverpool, from Fulham last week for an undisclosed fee, made his debut on Wednesday, June 31, in a preseason match against Lyon. Liverpool won 3-1.
Though the young lad was not on the score sheet, he performed well. Harvey looks likely to be part of the Liverpool squad going into the 2019/2020 campaign, playing as the third choice striker behind Roberto Firmino and Divock Origi.
