The sports management of Roc Nation, owned by popular American billionaire rapper, Jay Z, has confirmed the addition of Nigerian youngster and Villareal winger, Samuel Chukwueze, to their ranks after agreeing terms with the player's management, 10 Management.

The footballer took to his Instagram handle to announce the mega deal.

20-year-old old Chukwueze, after having a remarkable season with the Spanish club, Villareal, where he scored five league goals, becomes the first Nigerian footballer ever to join Roc Nation Sports and the second African footballer after Eric Baily, the Ivorian defender who plays for Manchester United.

Chukwueze helped Nigeria claim a bronze medal at the 2019 Africa Cup Of Nations [AFCON] and was named in the UEFA top 50 young players in the world for the 2018/2019 season. His popularity earned him a deal with Jay-z's Roc Nation agency. The agency also covers baseball, athletics, basketball, American football and boxing stars.

Big football stars, including Bayern Munich defender, Jerome Boaten; Borrusia Dortmund midfielder, Axel Witsel; Manchester United duo of Romelu Lukaku and Eric Baily make up the list of footballers associated with the agency.
