Man United Legend, Ryan Giggs, Wants Pogba Kicked In Training

26-year-old Frenchman, Paul Pogba, has been at the receiving end of backlash, media tantrums and people who have been questioning his fitness level and commitment to Manchester United.

Reports suggest that the midfielder doesn't train hard or receive heavy drilling in training, and Manchester United legend and former coach, Ryan Giggs, believes “kicking” Pogba in training  would bring the Frenchman back in line.

“Kick him in training. But that doesn't happen anymore. You are starting to lose that. Now I'm not saying you kick everyone. But that was how Ronaldo got better.

“Scholesy would kick him if he took too many touches. And suddenly it clicked that you can't keep dribbling or else I'm going to get kicked," Giggs told the football media, ‘Evening Standard News’, on Saturday.

Pogba's future has been a topic of discussion since he made the statement earlier this year that it may be time for a “new challenge”. During Mourinho's time, Pogba was heavily criticized by the coach for his lack of ability to defend, which raised eyebrows as to the commitment of Pogba on the pitch.

Ahead of the 2019-20 season, Ryan Giggs disclosed that some rough treatment, similar to that which was once dished out to Cristiano Ronaldo when he was still at Manchester United should have been served to Pogba. He added that the rough tackling in training made Ronaldo stronger in match days and would do the same to Pogba.
