Kevin-Prince Boateng Welcomes Ribery To Fiorentina

Bayern Munich veteran winger, Franck Ribéry, has joined Fiorentina on a free transfer, calling it quits on his 12-year stint with the Bavarians in Germany, where he won numerous trophies.

The Serie A side, Fiorentina, confirmed Ribery's arrival on their official website but the biggest announcement came through Kevin Prince Boateng. He is the brother of Jerome Boateng who was Ribery's teammate in Bayern Munich.

Kevin-Prince Boateng joined Fiorentina from Sassuolo this summer after his loan spell at Barcelona ended. He tweeted a picture of himself with Ribéry. See the picture below.

Ribéry is scheduled for presentation at a press conference today. He would then go on to be unveiled at the Stadio Artemio Franchi this evening.

Ribéry is a French born winger, who started his career in France, the French Ligue Un with Marseille before joining Bayern Munich in 2007 where he spent 12 years and won nine Bundesliga titles, six German Cups and the Champions League in 2013. For the national team, he coughed out 16 goals in 81 international appearances.
