Napoli recently announced the completion of the signing of Mexico international winger, Hirving Lozano, from Dutch giants, PSV, in a deal worth a reported €42 million (Euros).
Lozano, who happened to be one of the breakout stars in the Dutch Eredivise for the past two seasons, helped PSV finish the 2018-19 season as runners-up to long time rivals, Ajax.
They scored 40 goals and 23 assists in 79 appearances for PSV Eindhoven. Lozano had been scouted to play for a much more bigger club than PSV and that opportunity came in Naples.
Lozano has been consistently displaying good signs of prospect for both club and country in the last two years, and has now officially signed a five-year deal with his new club, Napoli, the Italian giants who are being coached by the Italian master, Carlo Ancelotti, former, AC Milan, PSG and Real Madrid coach.
PSV started the 2019-20 campaign with Lozano leading the attack. However, he picked up a knock in their last match against opponent, ADO Den Haag. The injury rules him out for weeks for the Eredivisie side. Still, it might also rule him out of Napoli's Serie A opener against Fiorentina on August 24 but the boys in Naples would be hoping he would be available for selection on August 31 when the two arguably biggest clubs in the past 3-5 seasons in the Serie A, Juventus Napoli, lock horns.
