Manchester United defender, Diogo Dalot, is reportedly receiving treatment at the Chinese club, Shanghai SIPG, for a recurring hip injury.

The 20-year-old Portugese, who was brought in by former manager, Jose Mourinho, for Primeria Liga giants, Porto, has been sidelined since the preseason and was scheduled to visit Eduardo Santos.

According to reports, the defender is being treated by Shanghai sports injury expert, who has been dubbed a "miracle-working physiotherapist" after helping the then-PSG defender, David Luiz, recover from a hamstring tear in 2015.

Chinese top flight club, Shanghai SIPG, confirmed the arrival of Dalot on August 29 for a 10-day treatment program with the physiotherapist and the first session was completed on Monday.

Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has announced that the youngster would be out of action until after the current international break, where he will be reevaluated and his recovery date confirmed. Manchester United might not be in dire need of Dalot, as they have proceeded with the £50m summer acquisition of Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
