Former Manchester United defender, Wes Brown, has said that Aaron Wan-Bissaka has the attributes of a great right-back, adding that the English youngster is strong in attack and has Premier League wingers running scared.
In an interview with the popular British show, 'Paddy Power', the former Manchester United defender expressed his delight at Wan-Bissaka.
“He’s been fantastic, probably the one signing for United who has been most consistent. If he can carry on like that, he’s going to be one of the greats in that position.
“He’s only young, he’s level-headed and everything he’s done, tackling, tracking back has been brilliant.
“I’ve even seen some of the better players not dare to have a go at him, they’re turning back and passing it.
“That’s the sort of player he is, no one wants to take him on because he’s going to go with everything," Brown said.
Brown added that Wan-Bissaka has been a sensible addition and the best transfer move the Red Devils have made this summer. He also affirmed that he saw him becoming one of the finest defenders in the English top-flight football
The old Trafford outfit opened their transfer kitty to cough out £50 million ($62m) for the 21-year-old, who had been signed from Crystal Palace over the summer. Before the signing of Wan-Bissaka, only Mane, Sane and four other players were able to dribble past the right-back throughout the 2018-19 English Premier League season, and going forward, no defender completed more dribbles than him.
Wan-Bissaka has had just one full season of senior football to his name at Crystal Palace, but he is already considered a satisfactory addition to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s new-look Manchester United team.
