Pogba, Shaw And Martial To Miss West Ham Clash

Manchester United Coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has confirmed that the squad will square up against West Ham without Frenchmen, Anthony Martial, Paul Pogba and left-back, Luke Shaw.

Martial and Shaw have both been recovering from knocks suffered against Crystal Palace, while Pogba has been unavailable for longer, since the 1-1 draw at Southampton on August 31, where he sustained an ankle injury.

Solskjaer remains optimistic Daniel James will be available for selection, after the lad who just joined the season for Swansea City suffered an injury during last Saturday's 1-0 win over Leicester City, which impelled his Europa League debut. Manchester United grinded out a slim 1-0 victory against Astana on Thursday.

When Solskjaer was asked at his weekend pre-match conference if Pogba and Martial would be fit enough to face West Ham on Sunday, he replied: "Not really, no. They've not been training yet so I don't think so. [Luke] won't also be ready."

He was then asked about the recovery process of Winger, Daniel James.

"Daniel James? I don't know. He's not trained in the last few days. Hopefully, but not sure. We'll have a recovery day with everyone tomorrow and we'll see on Saturday," he responded.
