Former Super Eagles player and coach, Samson Siasia, was banned from all football activities by the world football governing body, FIFA, earlier last month over for his alleged involvement in match-fixing.
The embattled coach is, however, seeking to raise the sum of N36m to appeal the life ban.
Siasia made this known to newsmen last week. The 52-year-old, whose 76-year-old mother recently regained freedom from her abductors after over two months in captivity, maintained his innocence, adding that his inability to get the money before October 10 would mean that he can no longer appeal the sanction.
He further stated that failure to make the appeal would lead to his coaching license and statutory authority being revoked.
He, therefore, appealed to the Federal Government and Nigerians for help in raising the funds.
