Real Madrid head coach, Zinedine Zidane, is set to once again face the verbal fury of Paris Saint-Germain sporting director, Leonardo, following his latest declaration of love for PSG golden boy, Kylian Mbappe.

20-year-old Mbappe has been constantly linked with a transfer move away from the Parc De Princes, which he joined since 2017 from Monaco.

First, it was a loan deal but after an impressive start to life for the Ligue 1 giants, he was signed permanently for an undisclosed fee.

Zidane, who has long been an admirer of the France international, had alleged last month that it was Mbappe's dream to play for Real Madrid.

Zidane's statement made PSG Sporting director, Leonardo, respond in an annoying manner thus: "It annoys me a little and it bothers me. This is not the time to talk about this. He still has two and a half years of contract with us. It's time to stop all this."

Speaking ahead of Madrid's Champions League clash with PSG on Tuesday, Zidane once again expressed his admiration for the young World Cup winner.

"You know that I have known him for a long time," he told a media conference. "I am already in love with him, firstly as a person, because he came to do a trial here a long time ago.

"On Tuesday he comes as a rival. What matters to me is what we are going to do and we are going to prepare for it. We know the player and we must be prepared."
