The Spanish football club, Malaga, who now plays in the second tier of the Spanish League, has suspended their head-coach, Victor Sanchez del Amo, on Tuesday, following the release of a sexually-explicit video of him which has gone viral on social media.

The 43-year-old coach was a former midfielder of the Spanish national team. He took to his official Twitter handle to confirm the reason behind the explicit video making the rounds on the internet.

He, however, believes that he is a victim of harassment and blackmail and he assures his fans that the matter is being dealt with by police.

He added that sharing or disseminating such content without the individual’s consent was a crime.

In the video, the young coach was seen bending towards a camera before taking off his pants to reveal his privates to the camera.

“In relation to the events that have recently been discovered, and which have not as yet been verified, Malaga CF immediately suspends coach Victor Sanchez del Amo from his duties until a full investigation is carried out,”

“We will disclose further information once the facts have been clarified.”

Malaga, who were once competing in the UEFA competitions, are now languishing in 16th position in the second division after 22 matches, a point above the relegation zone.

In the coming days, the fate of Victor Sanchez del Amo, will be decided after more investigations would be carried out on the matter.
