Conor McGregor Makes History With Major Win

Austin Papi

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Superstar, Conor McGregor, marked his long-awaited return to the octagon arena in pure record-setting style.

He went on to become the first person in UFC history to win via knockout at featherweight, lightweight, and welterweight

The Irishman ended his much talked about comeback fight with American veteran, Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cellone, in just 40 seconds gone into the first round.

Immediately after the fight at the Octagon, McGregor was quick to point out that his victory made him a history-maker in the UFC.

“I’m the first fighter in UFC history to secure a knockout victory at featherweight, lightweight and welterweight,

“I’m very, very happy. I’m very proud.”

The 31-year-old’s last fight was at featherweight level in 2015, when he was weighing 145 pound. He went on to defeat Jose Aldo in just 13 seconds to clinch the featherweight title.

On Saturday night, McGregor weighed 170 pounds as he entered the octagon to battle Donald.

Although Conor McGregor did look skinny at that weight class and that led to people speaking about the extreme body transformation that he has gone through between his last fight and Saturday night's bout.
