After scoring in Saturday's match against Bournemouth, the Egyptian International, Mohammed Salah, scribbled his name in the history book of Liverpool as no Liverpool player has scored more league goals in their first 100 top-flight appearances than Salah.

Salah’s equalizer in Liverpool's 2-1 win over Bournemouth, turned out to be his 70th goal in his 100th Premier League game.

However, during the game, the Liverpool fans were cheering loudly for Roberto Firmino, the Brazilian forward. The crowd chanted song of praises for Firmino but less often do they give Salah his deserved credit.

Salah’s goalscoring record already supersedes those of Fernando Torres and Luis Suarez. However, Torres and Suarez commanded more affection from Liverpool supporters during their reign in Anfield, but it is very obvious how quiet the recognition is for Salah. Yet, he [Salah] is set to guide Liverpool towards their first English Premier League title for over 30 years.

Salah’s 100th Premier League game saw him plunder his 70th goal, 20 more goals above Liverpool legend, Kenny Daglish.

Salah has now scored for his fifth consecutive match at Anfield.

Liverpool had concede an early goal through a strike from Bournemouth Forward, Callum Wilson, but their joy was short lived as Salah restored parity for Liverpool and from a Mane-esque goal, they won the match.
