<p>Portugal is set to be named UEFA Nations League semi-finals and final hosts next June after topping their group.</p>.<p>The European champions secured top spot in League A, Group 3 after a goalless draw with Italy on Saturday night.</p>.<p>Fellow group members Italy and Poland had bid to host the latter stages of the mini-tournament with Portugal.</p>.<p>It was agreed in principle by UEFA that the winner of the group would become hosts.</p>.<p>The Portuguese team won their first two games before the draw in Italy to become the first team to qualify.</p>.<p>In a UEFA Executive Committee meeting in Dublin next month, Portugal is expected to be announced as hosts.</p>.<p>The semi-finals will be played on June 5 and 6 and the final will take place on June 9.</p>.<p>READ ALSO: <a href="https://happenings.com.ng/sports/bbc-awards/">Salah And Mane Nominated For BBC African Footballer Of The Year</a></p>
