Former Super Eagles striker Victor Obinna Nsofor has been granted Italian Citizenship after living several years in the country.
The forward shared the news on his Instagram today while appreciating friends and family.
“I want to thank God almighty for doing this for me 🙏🏾 thank you Jesus for loving me so well. I also want to appreciate everyone that has help me in one way or the other to achieve this. I’m grateful, and to my lovely queen. @anastasija_radi thank you always for making me smile, I love you ❤️ io sono italiano.”
Nsofor moved to Italy in 2005 when he signed for Chievo Verona from Enyimba. He joined Inter Milan in 2008 where he spent another three years.
Obinna featured for the Super Eagles 48 times scoring 12 goals between 2005 to 2014.
